Considering that the DanMUN experience was my first opportunity to visit Denmark I must admit that I was impressed by the high level of education of Danish students. That is a major reason to consider studying there. Also university studies are free (paid by the government) and in general, taught in English, which allows you to be fluent in this language from a very early age. Danish higher education is also more flexible than the Spanish one, therefore embracing several disciplines and different subjects in each bachelor. Of course I may also add the fact that Denmark is a beautiful country with an admirable easy-going and relaxed life-style, a fact that makes you feel at home despite the weather. (This a key element for a Spaniard).
For all the above said, I think it would be doable for me to live and study my Masters in the future in Copenhagen. You should be proud of your country!

Copenhagen University is one of the most important branches of research on international security, which attracts me to stay in Denmark and study here.

First of all it is important to have a wide variety of programmes and courses in English, as well as extensive research opportunities and a qualified staff.
Secondly, it has to be possible for foreign students to work as much as they want in parallel with their studies. This will facilitate the financing of living expenses, especially taking into consideration that the amount of available scholarships is relatively limited and that not all students come from rich families.
Thirdly, it is essential that full information and support is provided concerning accommodation, health insurance, the opening of a bank account and other basic needs which arise when someone comes to a foreign country for studies.

Danish cheese! That’s one of my childhood memories; apart from that, as I grew up I heard a lot about Danish universities and now that I’ve spent some time in Copenhagen I believe that Denmark has a lot to offer to a student. Good universities with research reputation, high rate of social welfare, environment being one of the main concerns in all the policies, and last but not least, being internationally active in issues related to human rights which is my field of study and interest are inviting enough for me to choose it for studying.
